I'll admit that after having my Droid for a year I've stopped paying AS MUCH attention to details about cool apps and such. So excuse me for being an entirely operating system revision late... I have an OG Droid. A friend of mine with a DroidX who updated to GingerBread today revealed to me that since upgrading to Froyo, he's has a version of QuickOffice that is able to edit documents on his phone. My Droid's QuickOffice can only read documents. This is the reason why I posted in the 'hacking' section. If I were to pull the QuickOffice apk file from his DroidX and install it to my OG Droid (or if that APK is located online somewhere), would that work okay? Has anyone tried that?
