If not can you provide me with a link?
    Thanks guys

Huh, briefly, lol? Well, most of the custom kernels out there are designed for overclocking, but some also enable the OMAP3430 Temp Sensor so you can monitor the actual CPU temp with another app called TempMonitor. To actually overclock your processor, you need the SetCPU app as well. The different voltages are for one to find the _delicate_ balance between performance, stablility, and battery life.

The actual kernel itself is _contained_ within the boot.img file found in all ROM's and custom kernel files, along with the boot header, ramdisk, and sometimes an area called second stage. ALL the files you find on the net for flashing a custom kernel will contain a 'boot.img' file and the properly compiled 'twilan_drv.ko' (your WiFi driver).

Now you have a very brief idea, but BEFORE you go using one, do some more of your own research as each kernel is compiled specifically for a certain version of Android, and sometimes a specific developers roms. And as always, BACKUP FIRST, BACKUP FIRST, BACKUP FIRST. Oh and by the way, before you try one, make a backup first.

    good luck
