Alright so hi guys how you doing?
So I've had my phone since release, but I still find new things on it every now and again.
So I'm looking through my app screen. And I realize I have no idea what DLNA does or media share.
So I'm wondering what they do and does anyone use them very much?
Also latitude. I've got the idea behind it. But does that mean that I'm always broadcasting my location or is it only when the app is open? How's that work?

Thanks guys,
Forum is great.

From my understanding:

DLNA: Certain devices (xboxes, new TVs) are DLNA enabled. This lets your phone "communicate" with said devices. To do what? I don't know.

Media share: Again, lets you "communicate" with modern devices, and other phones to send pictures and junk, kinda like BUMP.

Latitude: Worthless, might get you robbed or raped

I used DLNA on my Omnia to remote access my PC, it was cool but not really functional for me.

I've read that there are several apps that will start media share, I don't know what those apps are.

Never used or researched lattitude.
