Am i missing somethin here? Every wallpaper i put on my droid isn't the quality it should be. I've tried a ton and nothing looks the way it seems that it should,i mean like the wallpapers it come with. I like putting different wallpapers on my phone, and thats about the only thing i liked about my voyager..the quality of the pics were very good. I know the screen is much larger but even the size everyone says doesn't look right.

I didn't want to start another topic but had a quick question about wallpapers...How do I store the saved wallpapers so that I can see them in my wallpaper gallery and scroll through them? All the saved pictures I have are in my photo gallery not the wallpaper gallery for some reason.

if you're getting the wallpapers off this forum, they're actually not the full resolution of the screen. for some odd reason, the hi-res download functionality is disabled on the wallpaper gallery. I posted a thread on this a few days ago.
    http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-themes/3925-cant-get-960x854-images-help.html

when you use 960x854 for your wallpaper, it looks crystal clear.

I don't get this myself. I thought the Droid's resolution was 854 X 480. None of the 956X854 files work. They end up being cropped. What am I missing?

you're right, the resolution of the screen is 854x480. but the home screen sides left and right, so to fill that entire area up, you need to use an image that's 960x854. when you open the image in your gallery, set it as your wallpaper, then tap the box till you see the arrows and drag it out so it's max sized. that should give you the full 960x854 wallpaper.

I'm using GDE as my home app. I have downloaded several wallpapers. Some of them have text or an image that should be centered to look good. However, when I apply that wallpaper with GDE, the text is off centered when looking at the home screen. How do I correct so that it displays properly on my home screen? Not so concerned with the other screens and how they look, but for example; I have a Droid Eye wallpaper, that I'd like to display on my "home" screen with the eye and DROID text centered on that screen. Help!!
