Question on Gmail account

Hi Guys,

If I wanted to change the Gmail account I had activated my droid with, how would I go about doing so?

Let's for discussion sake say that I have not yet created the new gmail account.

I've heard that it can be done, let me know if I'm mistaken.

Hit the menu button then go to settings. Chose the Accounts & sync option. Click on add account at the bottom and choose google..it will walk you through it from there.

I know this is an old thread, but what if you wanted to erase the original account? I know I've seen a thread on that, but am having a problem finding it. My cousin got his Droid the same day I did and created a dumb username, and has now created a more respectable one. He never used the dumb one, but when I go into the menu and select to remove the account it says that the only way to do it properly is to do a reset of the phone...
