Question abt Verizon service

I just received an Apple Ipad2 today from work as a gift. Will Verizon provide service for me? Will this change my unlimited phone plan?

First there are 2 different iPads, one is Wifi only, one is 3G and Wifi for AT&T.

If you have the Wifi only version you can not get Verizon wireless data service with out the use of a Mifi hotspot, Jetpack hotspot or phone hotspot app. The AT&T. Version can be connected to AT& T's network with a tablet data plan but it will not work on verizon. Oops I forgot that there was a Verizon 3G iPad 2. If you have that model you just have to ad service to the table to get data when on the go.

Also if it is a 3g ipad..adding service to it won't affect anything...

The new plans roll out the 28th, anything before then it won't affect.

This would be however subject to tiered data of course..

My suggestion is to use foxfi and tether it free of any additional charge
