Question About Stock MMS

Yes i am currently using SS4.8 but it seems to be a problem on all roms i use now. When i first load up my stock mms app works but when i go to restore my text messages using sms backup & restore the stock mms app does not work anymore it just freezes and force closes on me....any thoughts

Maybe try fixing permissions? I have no idea Ive used backup and restore many times and have never had any issues with it.

Um no I haven't tried that but ill try in report back. Ya I dn its weird how it works then doesn't I tried again on a fresh copy of 4.8 same issues

Is it possible that at least one mms message, or attached file, might be corrupted and/or missing when expected to be there? Just a thought.

Um I don't know really. I know I have mms files but SMS restore doesn't do those. I just backup my latest sms then wipe/data then install rom then try to restore them
