Does this app do some sort of automatic-installation thing?

Normally, you would need to reboot, hold X, select install rom, pick the rom, pick install and let it do its thing. Does this app have some way of setting up SPRecovery to auto-install on reboot?

If so, can somebody provide the details on how that works? The specifics, if you know them - what files it uses to flag that it is in auto-install mode, how it reboots into that mode automatically (if it does), how to exit out after a botched install, etc.

Just for my own education. Thanks!

I don't know the specifics, but it seems to follow the same basic steps of a nandroid install, just automatically. It only works for sholes roms and when you open it it shows you the latest release. You click it, you get booted into sprecovery and there you pick the things you want installed. Hit finish it reboots and you're done.

I would say if the install got botched you would just try again, or if you can boot into sprecovery on your own it does create a nandroid backup before it installs the new rom.
