Question about 2.3 Roms

    Hey all, it just occured to me, when (not if), gingerbread roms start coming out, am i still going to have root access? Probably a stupid question but hey i gotta know.

    You should because once the source codes are out there custom rims will be built from them.

    I tested two Gingerbread roms today, and I remained rooted the whole time. So yes. :)

    Is it worth running? Or is it still an alpha/beta sorta thing?

    I wouldnt recommend running it as your daily rom. But its fun to play around with. I got bored of it after an hour and flashed back to my normal rom, but its actually pretty nice and usable. My biggest complaint is that the accelerometer isnt working. :/

    The rebaked rom runs well at first for me then becomes really slow. The accelerometer doesnt work also and music skips a lot for me. In other words its kind of a pain in the butt to use but enough to satisfy the craving for a little while :D
