Not only has Qualcomm really taken their technology to a whole new level with some of their new dual-core and quad-core (MPQ8064 1.5GHz) Snapdragon S4 processors, they are also taking those chips to a whole new playing field. Along with all the great new mobile smartphones and tablets that Qualcomm will be powering, (like the U.S. version of the Samsung Galaxy S III), they just issued a press release sharing they are expanding their family of processors to other devices and markets, including TVs and PCs. As you can see from the picture above, they created four new categories/tiers of products that will be in a wide range of devices, from mid-range smartphones, to Windows RT tablets and laptops, to high-end smart TVs and more. Here's the full press release:

it was bound to happen. I wouldn't mind seeing a better experience in a TV as long as it doesn't triple the cost of it. Imagine having a TV running Android. That would be a pretty awesome experience having TV integrated into Android.
