I haven't tried I wanted to take a look at your set up and modify it a bit I want to include three keys to reset the phone without opening the keyboard, it's possible and will reduce accidental restarts, but I haven't installed yours yet I'll give it a try in a few.

**EDIT** It would appear that the init.sholes.rc returns to its original state, the key codes are the same, unfortunately the mod didn't have any effect :/

well damn, I just tried it out, and it's NOT working. The version I had installed was with a new kernel, and in testing this one I tried to re-apply the existing kernel - which didn't work, apparently. Stay tuned, I'll post when I have it working for real.

Fixed! Download the updated copy in the first post and try it again.

The unpackbootimg utility names the kernel boot.img-zImage instead of the boot.img-kernel I was expecting. The filename is corrected now, and I just tested it out (it seems to work fine for me).

What forum are you most prominent in? I know alldroid seems to be your new place but the forum doesn't have a lot of activity.

Lol - I can't take credit for changing the numbers 114 and 115 and 211 to 19, 31, and 45! Pete's script set it all up, I just picked different keys and figured out how to apply the change. Even the manner I used to install it was borrowed from Koush's kernel installer.
