saw that app brain released a PVZ clone that was taken down any one know where i can get a .apk of that game? if this is looked down upon sorry

It wasn't really pvz, it was something else that was real similar. I forgot what it was called so I can't tell you.

No it was actually called pvz but it was indeed a total clone. I had it for a day or two and then it got pulled after I accidentally deleted it. Good luck finding it.
