So i have run both for about 2 weeks, and idk. Project Elite is so fast and smooth, but i like the customization in Ultimate Droid 1.0.0, but it just seems that i get alot of fc and lag with ud. I know everyones phone is different and stuff. Just wondering what your guys opinions are and why? Thanks

i use shadowrom, best of all worlds, options, speed, tons of themes, many customizable things, etc.

UltimateDroid is and always will be the best in my personal opinion. From time to time I get pulled in other directions like with Cyanogen and ShadowROM but when it really comes down to it I always go back to UD because it's customization and constant support... There are only a few basic flaws that I am having with tUD 1.0.0 but BD is aware and fixing them for the next release... plus they all deal with the music player so no biggie :)

you hit the nail on the head - every phone is different, so you won't necessarily have the same experience with a rom as someone else, and vice-versa. so just keep in mind that whatever opinions you get here are just that - opinions. and so far, my experience has been that opinions don't change the way my phone runs... ;)

UD 1.0.0 is smooth as butter. I haven't had a single FC or launcher redraw since I upgraded from UD7.

I just installed UD yesterday, coming from BB 0.5. I'll have to reserve judgment for a few days. So far, I like it.

ud has more options as far as customizing goes. PE is awesome though. Very smooth and very fast.

I had too many fc issues with UD, so I quit using the ROM. Thought it was maybe my phone, so clean installed on my gf phone and same thing...process.android.acore fc all day. Ditched it and havent gone back.

PE has not given her a fc yet. However, she does like having different color LEDs for notifications because she puts her phone on silent at work. PE has a limited choice of led colors...basically...ONE. You can change the led color for MMS (or gmail) cant remember....but thats ALL.

just an fyi - the Blink app (free in the mkt) lets you change/choose LED colors.

awesome! Will do that. Its my girls phone...not mine. I am running miui 3.999...but flashed PE for her last night. Going to have her dl that app and pick her own color leds...it will be better if she does it...instead of always handing me her phone and having me do it. lol
