Not to be nosy or impatient or anything... I was just wondering about how long do you think it will take before PE6 comes out? A rough estimate is fine.

Nothing wrong with PE6 2.3.3 Beta here... Perhaps you should give it a go?

    ;)

Beta on my phone is the smoothest Gingerbread rom I have run so far. And I had switched back to PE4.2 (Froyo) for a while there.

The title to this thread is BS.

It will be posted when it is ready. It's really that simple.

Yeah- They'll release it when they're ready to release it. I'm eagerly awaiting as well, but I'd rather have them not rush it and perfect it then release it. The Beta is running excellent on my Droid, btw. Try it out.

and someone close this thread! Very misleading title.

Yes, don't rush perfection. :) I like being surprised, anyways.

My only issue with the Beta is that the camera didn't work for me (kept freezing or FC"ING) but everything else was fine.

I almost forgot the current PE6 version many of us are running is technically called "beta." It runs so well for me (except for the above-mentioned camera problem).

I have had camera freezes on just about every rom that I have tested and the only solution I have ever come up with is to back off on the over clocking / under voltage-ing.

I got the problems to go away rolling back to 800MHz, standard voltage (and some low voltage) kernels.

You are just among those of us lucky enough to have the crappy batch of camera chips in out phones.

I've never had a camera issue o_O I'm running Prime's Kernel, set to Primed. And using various profiles for things ranging from 500-900

500 - 800 MHz are generally going to be pretty safe. 900 MHz is a little bit iffy for some people's phones. Above that it is a crapshoot.
