Program Icons Disappearing?

So everytime I turn on my phone more and more program icons disappear. Currently, Google Sky Map and Where are both just black about their names, the only way I can make the icons come back is by reinstalling them, but the icons just disappear once again when I reboot the phone. It seems to happen to random programs at random times. Sometimes the name of the program is even changed to nonsense like "#029e82". What could be causing this issue?

Well this doesn't really answer the question, but my problem has been solved. I took the phone to Verizon and they deemed it Dead On Arrival. But I had been having more problems than just this. Do you have any other issues with your phone Jolest? Because my new replacement is noticeably better in performance and otherwise.

Other than the oddness noted before, just shorter than expected battery life...
