I just purchased a Droid X, and I'm having rather frequent problems with the touch screen. It will just stop responding to my touch, and I have to lock it and unlock it to get it to start responding again. Somewhere else on the internet I saw a suggestion that the Verizon screen protector that they sold me at the store may be causing this problem. Anyone here have any thoughts? If this is the problem, does anyone know of a different screen protector that wouldn't cause this problem? Is a screen protector even necessary?

Thanks!

Screen protectors can cause the problem... so can dry skin...

Take it in and see if they will give you a new screen protector
