It stsrted eventually making it to the "droidmod" loading screen. It then goes into I guess what happened when I first got the phone, a "tutorial" of sorts but freezes and reboots into the loop shortly after.

Did you have problems with your phone rebooting when it was on stock software? My first 2 Droids were always randomly rebooting on me. My first one even did it before getting through the setup-tutorial while I was in the store (but I figured it wasn't a serious problem).

I went through a lot of posts to google with log files and they told me it looked like my hardware was bad. After making it to my 3rd Droid, I didn't have those issues anymore.

but if your problem only happened after using custom ROMs, then you likely have a software problem. Try going back to stock software and then going to the latest DroidMod and see if you still have problems.

I'm running DroidMod and don't have any issues.

What is setcpu running at right now? Try setting it to 600 before install?

What kernel are you running? Even though you bump the CPU down, the voltage is compiled into the kernel - so if your phone doesn't like it, bumping it down definitely won't help. Try to install a kernel that is not overclocked by default, and it should boot.
