I'm having a really hard time getting web pages to play videos using flash despite apparently getting it in the OTA 2.2 update.

While I am seeing certain advertisements moving/rotating on a given web page, when I click on a screen to play video I actually want to see, it never seems to work.

Are there any settings I need to adjust? Is anyone else having this issue?

What happens to me, is that a video will still say I need flash, I just click the link "get flash player" and then it plays the video.

Stock browser?

1. Make sure flash is installed on your system:
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > make sure filter is set to see all apps including system apps > check for Adobe Flash Player in the list.

*Or*

Check in market, search adobe flash see if its installed.
If not there, download from market. If it is there, goto 2.

2. Stock browser > settings > enable plug-ins > set to always on and load a movie. Personally I set this to on-demand but for testing purposes, go ahead and use Always On.
