Problems since insurance swap

    I had major issues charging my Rezound so I used the insurance to swap it out. The new one is stock and locked. I was going to unlock and root it but I'm having a couple of issues. Sometimes it won't wake up and I'll have to power cycle for it to come back. Also there are times that apps stutter and the touchscreen doesn't work. The stuttering passes but it is annoying. The only way to get the touchscreen back is to do a power cycle.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Sounds like you got a lemon... I would try a factory default and if the problem continues contact Asurion (or whatever insurance you used) for another replacement.

    Are you sure it's not waking up? I have had issues where when I unblank the screen it is so dim for a few seconds that it can't be seen, waiting 5 or 6 seconds it usually comes back to normal.

    Yeah like Ace said. There were a good number of "lemon" Rezounds out there. Specifically the ones that Amazon was shipping. Return that sucker and get one that works.
