I am having problems with my mobile carrier. I recently updated it to ( Lollipop 5.0.1 ). My LG G3 model is LG-D858HK. This was my first time updating a software by going in to the download mode and firmware settings otherwise I usually update my phone with stock updates in my phone but not even the orginal website of LG had the update of my model, LG-D8585HK and I was irritated by the stock software version of kitkat so I took this decison for the first time.
I updated my phone by following the instructions from this site ( Upgrade LG G3 Dual Sim (LGD 858HK) to Lollipop (5.0.1) ) I went according to the instructions stated and I downloaded the firmware from here (http://lg-phone-firmware.com/tool.php?idclick=13204) I was a first timer so I Didn't actually knew what I was doing? The instructor of the website actually stated to install V20d firmware but it wasn't there on the firmware website stated by the instructors website so I went in to the review section and the instructor said that V20e also works for dual sim LG G3: LG-D8585HK model so I installed it and then I installed the rest of the requirements stated on the website stated above for example, the Windows driver ( LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN311AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.11.3.exe ) and LG flash driver ( LG Flash Tool 2014.zip). The upgrade was successful but my carrier settings are not working at all, it's showing full signals but when I call it says network error. The mobile data is limited to 2G and I have mobile with 4G/2G/4G built in, this problem was not before this update and my mobile data connection was alright and was working and now my mobile carrier and Data connection is totally ruined. This mobile came from Dubai and is (dual sim) plus my one sim slot is working and the other is not responding at all. I live in Pakistan and my mobile carrier authorization is from ( MOBILINK ). One more thing the instructor of the website stated in the website is that, phone mode should be DMG but the LG flash tool showed no option such as so I went with DIAG mode. I don't know what's right and what's wrong??
I need your help as I was informed that you help people on aspects like these and I will be grateful to you in every possible away. On a serious note I am also new on this Tapatalk thing and I am only using it for some help and I am finding it useful. I am sorry if I used the wrong communication method as I don't have complete knowledge on Tapatalk.
