Problem with Youtube

When I'm on youtube.com (not the mobile version, as I now no longer go to the /m site for some reason), I click on a video and it just keeps "loading" and then after 3-4 minutes says it needs to force close. Any ideas? The player works fine, but it's much easier to watch videos on you tubes site itself and load them onto the player.

It may have something to do with it not having flash. Have you tried using the built in youtube app instead of the browser?

Let me clarify, I'm going to Youtubes site, clicking on a video, and telling the youtube app to play it, and it's not working.

ah ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. Are you rooted? If so, what custom ROM are you running?

No, not rooted.

does the youtube app open? or does it not even get that far?

The youtube app opens when I tell the browser to open the video with it, but after a few minutes of it telling me it's loading it eventually makes me force close as it freezes.
