Problem with Droid Incredible Messaging Vibrate

Has anyone else had problems getting their Droid Incredible to vibrate with e-mail or messages. The phone works fine with calls.

I have called Verizon and HTC and walked through some setting, everything appears to be alright.

Both have told me the next step is a hard reset to determine if the phone is defective.

I really don't want to have to rebuild my phone if there is some setting that I'm missing.

you tried going in to settings<sounds<notification ringtones and making sure something is check.

Alos a good app is the audio manager widget which allow you to both check and set some alert notifications off like some stay on. Example is at night you do not want to hear "droid" everytime you get an email or notification so you can mute that but keep your alarm clock on to wake you up.

If you click on the sms icon and then hit the menu button it will bring up sms settings. You need to click vibrate on that as an option. Same with email.
