Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and already love your site. I'm hoping you all have an answer to my very first question.
I will be picking up a new Droid X on Tuesday and have a question about the car mount. I have always used the ProClip car mounts for all my phones and love them. However I do not like the mount they have for the Droid X. Is there a way to modify the Motorola Droid X OEM Car Mount to attach to the ProClip mounting plate? I do not want to attach the Droid X OEM Car Mount to the windshield and was wondering if I can take the Droid X OEM Car Mount apart and just screw the OEM phone mounting/holding part to the ProClip mounting bracket.
