I've asked this before but no luck. Is there an app for the X2 that enables me to put in a password for just certain files or folders but not to open everything in the X2?

You know...I'm pretty sure there is. I could've sworn I've come across something like this before. Not 100% if it was possible to isolate specific files/folders, but you could definitely put a password on certain apps, so maybe you could just do that for the file manager or something. Sorry I don't remember the name, it MIGHT have been an app that also allowed you to edit your lock screen. Again, not sure.

Funny you should ask this. Today's free app of the day on Amazon is "Seal". Looks like it might do the trick. I try to check out their free app every day.

    Privacy, Security

Thank you for the reply. I may not have made my request clear. I'm not looking to protect apps; I'm looking to protect just certain files. For example, I have a file with cc#s, ss#s, bank info, etc. If I lose the X2 I don't want this info to get out. I don't want privacy on any other items in the X2 or my computer. I could do this with my Treo using the Palm system and am trying to find a similar program for my X2.
