So I had to call them yesterday due to issues with my wife's D1. Figured it out after the call that her battery was tripping out so I just gave her my stock battery from my D2. Anyway the rep mentioned that I have had 19 phones since I signed up with VZW and multiple complaints on file. She wanted to know what she could do to make me a "happy customer".....so I gave her my answer...."send me a Droid 3". As I am sure you can guess she was unable to comply. But I guess that triggered something with her because she started offering me a free upgrade to a Thunderbolt. Of course I declined (sorry I prefer my Moto's and must have physical keyboard....plus I have yet to be impressed with the Tbolt when I compare it to my D2). Well I can only assume she wasn't satisfied because she transferred me to a supervisor who followed her lead in trying to push a Tbolt on me. After I refused a couple times....then took insult to the offer for an iphone....he decided to transfer me again to a customer loyalty specialist who apparently gets all the good deals. Long story short I settled for them covering my bill and giving me a discount towards the D3 upon it's release. SUPPOSEDLY it is noted in my account. I will call and verify that tomorrow. But I couldn't and still can't get over how many times they tried to push a Tbolt on me.....can anyone figure why?
