$1 an issue seems fairly steep. Hopefully direct subs are available priced a bit more reasonably.

Sounds like a great app for a tablet, though. But between the cost of a tablet, perhaps data for said tablet, plus the paper I think I'll stick with hardcopies.

Way too pricey. I can access most of the papers via google search.

There's another newspaper app (maybe called "newspapers") that admittedly I have only used a few times but seems pretty good. I think you have pay for added features like shortcuts or bookmarking...

Not sure about offline use, and other features that may be lacking, but "newspaper" is a better deal IMO. Although IF I had a tablet the app highlighted in this thread would be fantastic for the airplane.
