Welcome to the forum. Since you're asking about words that don't appear in the dictionary, I'm going to assume that you know how to properly find the dictionary.

As far as I know, there's no way to remove the "stock" words in any device's dictionary.

Are you using a third-party keyboard app or the one that came with the device?

What words that don't appear are you trying to remove? (Please keep in mind that this is a FAMILY FRIENDLY forum.)

i'm using the google keyboard that came with the phone. I was trying to remove and email address that got put on the task bar. it is supposed to read @centurylink.net but reads @venturing and I can't seem to find out how to remove it. I have found the dictionary but it shows no added words. so i'm stumped to know what to do other than save entrees and reset to factory defaults. I truthfully don't know how I put them on the task bar except when I was typing a message I struck the words as they were printing out on the task bar. if you can point me in the correct direction it would be greatly appreciated.

By task bar, are you referring to the bar above the keyboard that suggests words? (Yours may look different than mine.) Like mine where it says if, I, & The?

If so, those are just suggestions of the next word it thinks you're likely to use. The Google keyboard learns as you use it, so if you stop selecting that wrong word from the bar, it should eventually "forget it", stop suggesting it, & learn the correct one the more you type that.
