power button not working?

this is my second moto droid its rooted and running cyanogen 5.0.5.7 and all the sudden my power button just topped working? it will turn off, airplane mode, and such as that but it just wont put my droid to sleep? anyone else ave this problem? this is my second time with this

Check what you have "end button behavior" set to in the spare parts app

Yes, go to spare parts, and see "End Button Behavior"

You must have changed it when you were checking out all the settings. I did the same thing yesterday but found the answer with a quick Google search...lol

I am having the same problem with my Droid. It's running 2.1-update1 and is NOT rooted. I noticed this 2 days ago. I can slide the keyboard out to activate the phone, but this is becoming a pain. Anyone have any ideas?
