I have been curious to see what other peoples droids run at temp wise. List your droid's idling temp in C as reported by setCPU CMOS, ROM, Kernel and speed, and theme.

    27 C
    CyanMod 5.07.1
Bekit LV 1200 set btw 800-1100 on demand
    DroTheme

By idle I took my reading after some light use when coming out of standby.

    Ultimate droid's 1.25 new era,
    1.2ghz p3 kernel @ 1200/250 ondamand
idles at 80f cpu and 84 battery
after light use i can be in high 90's for both cpu and battery

New Era 1.25 is the sickest rom out there, if you dont have it what are you waiting for!
i dont know why anyone would waste there time on any other rom
blackdroid, makes the smoothest most stable rom out there with the most features i must add!

mine is usually around 28-30c for idle and about 33-38c under use
This is with bb1.0 with the 1ghz kernal

The best consistent temps I ever got were with UD6.x. It would consistently idle around 15-20c but it obviously had tons of other bugs that were terrible

WtH? You guys all on the side of the planet that's winter?

    My MotoDroid is:
    JRummy/n8 Remix 0.8 Blue
    P3 7 Slot 1000Mhz LV Kernel (running at 600/250)

Idle: 30*C (after waking up from an all-night sleep)
Load: 46*C (after watching video for a half hour)

Almost the same exact temps with Bekit's 7 Slot 1100MHz Kernel
(changed to P3 while testing for battery life- which is a good question, I've been getting better battery life with the P3 kernels...anyone else??)

    ***EDIT
I realized that there are a few people in this thread (and elsewhere) that post their temps in *F. This is ok, and understandably you're in the US like myself...but the entire rest of the world uses *C, so I've found that it's easier to just get used to showing people temps in *C rather than *F. This way, everyone knows exactly what temp it is without having to do a conversion, and ALL monitoring software (be it on your computer, your toaster or your phone) has both *C and *F, so it's an easy change.
If we all used the Fahrenheit scale, then it wouldn't matter at all, but it's just us in the USA that use it and the rest of the entire planet uses Celcius (well, for the most part, eh? ;))
It's just easier to communicate when we're all talking the same language...you never know if someone from the other side of the world is capable of helping, but if they don't understand *F, they probably aren't going to go through the trouble of converting it just to tell you that your CPU is going to fry.
