Another example of how the camera does a good job of metering in difficult light conditions.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try and take some pictures sometime soon.

Overall I'm unimpressed with this camera. It does take great pictures, when the circumstance are perfect. Otherwise it requires constant adjustments to get it right. Very annoying compared to her old rezound.

The damn thing never saves the changes I make either.

Wow, Rich Tones changes the entire picture's feeling by enhancing the sky and minimizing the reflection of light from the water, without destroying the overall dynamics of the photo. Very nice.

    Illustration of HDR (backlit scene)

Here are three approaches to shooting a backlit scene. The left-most picture was taken with the stock Camera app in auto mode. The middle one was taken with the stock Camera app set to Rich Tones mode. The right-hand one was taken with the HDR Camera + app.

Here are three examples of HDR, this time using a front lit scene. The left-hand picture was taken with the stock Camera app in Auto mode. The middle picture used the stock Camera's Rich Tones mode. And the right-hand picture was shot with the HDR Camera app.
