Iv been using Helix for a few days now and Im extremely happy with it. Can I remove the Launcher.apk if I have Helix set to default? Would it help with battery life?

I use root explorer to remove my apps. I surf to system/app/ and then press the button at the top right that says "Mount R/W" or "Mount R/O" so that it changes my permissions and then I long press and delete the .apk then i will go find the folder for it in /data/data and long press delete.

    enjoy

I would just rename it to .bak just in case you want to use it again, or at the very least do a nandroid backup first.
