Port phone.apk to liberty

Well I was curious if its possible to port the motophone dial contact etc? I tried extracting the phone apk from a moto rom and transffering it to the liberty rom. It works and I can access the dial contact but my 3g and signal bar disappears. I'm sure there's more to this than a quick paste and copy. Does it have another files like a md5 or some sort I need to also get? I know it defeats the purpose of having an aosp rom but I just really like that phone dial contact apk. I know tranquility has that but I'm just not getting any luck with that rom and I like liberty. Any help or direction would be a helpmate thx.

I believe the dialer needs more blur to function correctly. Being aosp, it won't happen. Try apex.

Won't work. Get yourself a new rom. Something fusion like, perhaps...
