I think you're bound to have a biased poll on this forum, as many of us root/rom/mod as you mentioned.
I do think it's results are a testament to how well the original Droid has held up, considering we've all had it for 2 years now.
I think an interesting poll would be to find out who has been capable of upgrading from their original Droid, but haven't found a device they truly thought was a worthy replacement. For me, only the Nexus has been worthy of using my upgrade. I also was going to get the GSII when it was announced, but alas as you mentioned Verizon passed.
