Thats odd because my iphone4 gets way better battery life than any of my droids. Seriously.

I agree, Apple did a nice job with the iPhone 4's battery - better than their predecessors. Still, always room for improvement. :)

Is it just me or is the physical keyboard becoming obsolete? I like the keyboard but im thinking i may need to switch to a bionic/thunderbolt/iphone and forcr myself to get used to it.

Def no more driving and texting!

It's pretty well understood that the apple has everyone beat in the battery department.

I have gotten used to limiting how I used my droid 1 (and the incredible I'm using now is worse) if I had my way I would tax the sh*t out of my battery all day. Mostly with streaming audio and browsing. I've gotten used to putting my phone away certain times of the day in order to make the battery last me until the evening.

That said does anybody know what bluetooth profiles the iphone has built in? I like to listen to my music through my car stereo

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out.

I would say it's personal opinion...depends on the user.

I however hate physical keyboards now, and yeah it seems everything being developed is ever so slowly drifting away from them.

PS- I drive and text......with the voice input on my X.....LOVE that.

Playing devil's advocate here but I must also say that owning an apple product is pretty convenient when seeking out accessories. Everybody and their mother accommodates the iphone/ipod when it comes to 3rd party products.

A bit off-topic, but assuming we do see a VZW iPhone come announced tomorrow (or even in the future) will there be a forum here for it, even though it's not an Android (I.E.: boards for support/hacks/tips and tricks, as this board right now is simply for 'All things regarding the pending announcement for IOS and VZW')?

If so, I'd like to welcome the future Verizon iPhone owners to DF, if any would come here. :)

We're debating that now in the back room. We know there will be several Droid owners that will either convert or carry both so we've been debating what to do. There will most probably be another separate forum, but we're looking at the subforum here as a possibility. It should be decided soon.

And that is a HUGE strength of the Apple devices and a credit to developing single devices. Really encourages developers to jump on board for aftermarket accessories.

Be like going to a chevy forum and asking for a dodge sub-forum. A sister site perhaps.
