please help with led problem

Ok for some reason, my led light doesn't work at all. It doesn't flash when I get a text anymore. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Can someone help me fix this?

are you rooted?
using a different messaging app?

did you check the settings in the messaging app for notifications?
