I couldnt find a battery so I did the deed. I went into Verizon and they said no problem youre on warranty we'll send you a new one... But it gets better! when she was placing the order she asked the rep beside her what the Droid 3 serial number was and she said she didnt know and I piped up and said it was like XT8... something so on tuesday we'll see whether I get a D2, or D3 !

That's cool. Just make sure if you have to send the old one in, there's no trace of root. If vzw sees that's you rooted your phone, you'll be enjoying a huge bill. Just want to let you know! Hopefully, that won't be the case. Was your boot logo or animation the stocks one? Did you get rid of bootstrap? Make sure it's clean, clean. Either that or broken enough to where they won't bother to check
