    im new to flashing roms.. and so i got the base down. i think
    i have downloaded the rom i wanted (gingerbread stock). from my computer then moved onto file by mass storage. can i just go to rom manager and click install rom from sd card? and press the gpa 13 file?
    or no.. what is titanium thing? oh.. and for the stock gingerbread rom, do i also have to download some kernel thing? i need help!

    Well, using ROM Manager is probably a bad idea since you don't seem to know what you're doing. That's the first problem.

    Secondly, did you read the thread where you got the ROM? The install instructions should be there -- including wiping the phone, making backups, etc.

    Third, are you running a custom recovery? You'll need one.

    Fourth, and probably the most important...

    What phone are you running and did you download a ROM for that phone? :)
