Hello Droiders. My Razr Maxx has about given up the ghost (USB charging port is wounded and finicky) and I'm due for a change. There is a bewildering array of choices out there and was wondering about your experiences.

I want a bigger screen then my Maxx, so that is a spec. It also is very laggy, probably due to all the apps I run. I use Tune-In radio the most. Battery life isn't too big of a requirement, since I am usually near a charger. My carrier is Verizon.

    Thanks all.

If you want to stay with what you are already comfortable with, the Droid Maxx will kick you up to a 5" screen, the battery is a little bigger, camera's about the same, you get 32gb of memory and 2gb of ram, and wireless charging. It seems to be very well liked but no SD card slot.

The HTC One M8 would be another good choice. Front facing speakers, SD card slot, 5" screen, good battery life, but some folks don't like the camera's 4mp's but it takes excellent indoor and low light pics. Quad core processor and 2gb of ram. It's very quick and sounds great.

If you list the specs you need, we can narrow down the choices.

I went with the HTC One M8 - quite a phone. Thanks again for providing the comparison links.
