please help. i cant save downloads to my sd card. it goes straight to phone memory

My phone is Motorola RAZR
When I try to download something it gets saved to phone memory ..and not SD card. I can't find the option to select where it gets saved too... please help me if u have info

I don't know much about he Razr. But if you know where its storing stuff, you can find it & move it with a File Explorer from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=file+explorer&c=apps . ES File explorer & Astro are popular. Also, if you have wifi, there are some apps there that let you transfer files to a pc

I am in the same quandary. I want to set by default where the save goes, much like in Windows when you save a file, without having to move it later. This may not be an option but it should be. By the way, I am running Android 4.3.

I do not believe there is any way to set the default location for downloads. They all go to the Downloads folder automatically. As CJM posted, with a file explorer it is easy to just transfer the downloaded files to another location for permanent storage.
