cyanogen mod is the only ROM that supports apps2sd on the droid.

    download rom manager
    flash clockwork recovery
backup your entire sd card to your pc.
choose the partition sd card option in clockwork
choose the largest size for each option
it'll erase ur sdcard entirely and partition it.

then you install cyanogenmod , which can be done with rom manager
then go to settings -> applicatoins -> check off apps2sd

    done.

No, only the CyanogenMod ROM or ROMs based on Cyanogen support Apps2SD.

You can also partition it manually using a Windows/Linux GUI partition manager.

I used Paragon Partition Manager on Windows to shrink the main FAT32 partition (which needs to remain the first partition on the drive) and then add a ext3 partition and a swap partition.

After a reboot, the Apps2SD option under Settings -> Applications was activated and you can also move individual applications onto the SD card in the individual application details pages.

Yes. Everything will work the same. Only difference is the apps will load a bit slower unless you have a fast SD card.

from what i understand it isn't because the droid can't read it much faster than the stock sd card so a higher class isnt doing much. correct me if i'm wrong someone. Rom manager premium will partition your sd card for you I believe. That will be the easiest way to apps2sd. And yes, cyanogenmod roms are the only roms that support apps2sd, so far

u just wouldnt be able to do it i think lol but if space is becoming a problem for u u should try out rom manager and then back up ur sd card after you back up ur rom and try it out in rom manager. i havent really noticed any difference in how long apps take to load and if anything some load quicker i think. but ive been downloading apps nonstop since lol :icon_ banana:
