PSone emulator pulled from Android market; dev blames Xperia Play

"PSX4DROID v2 was pulled by Google due to 'Content Policy violation' as noted here. Trying to determine what can be done," the emulator's developer wrote via Twitter. "Sony's Xperia Play must be coming soon."

No idea, I'd wager if Amazon has it that it would still be there though.

Well, emulators aren't illegal in the sense that they should be taken down from anything~ so Google taking it down seems a bit harsh. The guy probably didn't have his licensing ducks in order. Taking down stuff like Rom Gripper makes sense, it's pretty much direct download based software pirating, but Emulators are safe content. I like Google, but don't like how the only market for software has to come from them. It's very iPhone/iTunes like. Can you imagine your PC environment being so limited?
