I read somewhere that, with a rooted Android, you can use your 3G connection as if it were a Wifi connection (and I'm not talking about tethering). I know it seems a little unnecessary, but with recent multiplayer games booming on the market (Modern Combat 2 and soon-to-be Order & Chaos), it'd be nice to be able to play those games online, even when you don't have a Wifi connection. Now, the problem with these games is that they're Wifi only. Is there a way to instead use a 3G connection as well? I only read it somewhere (and I believe it's also possible on iOS), so I may be wrong.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I'm not sure about that, but it just might be the requirement to install a modded application.
