Play Store downloads unbearably slow

Has anyone noticed that the play store downloads are so extremely, unbearably, miserably slow on Wi-Fi, even when on a reasonably fast connection with good speeds on other web apps?

Nope, haven't noticed that.

That happens to my phones sporadically, and usually if I switch to cell data the download is quick. I usually chock it up to my ISP and their network.

It's weird, it seems to only affect play store app downloads for me.

When it happens to my phones its the same way, only the Play Store is slow, everything else is fast as normal. I agree...very weird.

Can't say I've experienced that. Maybe try clearing cache/data in the Play Store?

I haven't noticed it happening on any of my phones in a while now, but will try to remember that the next time it seems sluggish on WiFi.

I get this from time to time on wifi. For me personally it's usually the Google apps.
