The 3D Gallery app for 2.1 was made for Google/Android by CoolIris. This has been obvious for those of us that have been using it for a while and was also clearly stated in the Google Nexus One Press conference.

Works good.. Much easier to go from pic to pic then before.. I did have a little problem with blurry pic but it cleared up after about 15 sec. Haven't yet had the problem again... My girlfriend like it so much I added it to her phone too along with swype

BTW how would I go about renaming it as not to confuse it with the stock gallery app???

Im like a kid that just got a new toy, this even downloads my picasa albums. That integration is really cool, really cool. So basically I can show off my pics without having to bring my laptop. The Picasa app on my computer syncs everything for me on the computer to the net and so does my Droid. awesomeness!

I got it installed and working, very cool. Thank you 928 for hooking us up.

I did have the other 2.1 Gallery app installed, so I had to remove that one to make this one work.

I would like to know also... I got an album uploaded to picasa but how do I get it to show up in the gallery?

Well my picasa is linked to my gmail account, which is linked to my droid. When I installed this gallery it asked me if I wanted to link and I pressed accept. In a few minutes I was able to see my picasa albums in gallery. It was all automatic, I didn't know it could do it, the app asked me if I wanted to. I guess it saw my picasa albums.
