pic message recieve problems

Everytime I recieve a pic message from someone it says national access not allowable and then i have to download the pic and then it just shows a blank message and can't open it. HELP!! plzz

I have been having that trouble as well. The only fix that I have found is I have whoever is sending me the picture to write something in the text along with the pic. For some reason this allows the pic to actually open on my droid. Not sure if this is the "official" fix or not but that is what works for me.

I don't know if this will help, but _maybe_ try going on the phone:

menu -> settings -> wireless & networks -> mobile networks and then make sure 'data roaming' is checked.
