Sunrise on my way to work the other day. Not spectacular detail but not bad for sticking a camera out the window of a truck moving at 40mph either I suppose.

This is obviously panorama, but it's the G2 camera on an AOSP ROM.

HDR was by far the most accurate to the scene and lighting.

To me Auto Intelligent makes the prettiest photo but HDR was again the most accurate.

HDR makes a huge difference, great pics MBM!
Can you apply HDR or IA after the picture is taken or do you have to activate it before the shot?

As far as I know it has to be done when taking the shot with the stock camera. I've got Picsay that'll do the same thing after the shot but I'll probably just use HDR more on this phone for the closest to real photos and Picsay to dampen the hd a bit before printing on ones that are too vibrant, such as ones with very bright lighting like the middle one taken from my front porch above. Multiple metered photos seem to come out too dark overall on full auto and it's good to be finding a quick remedy (hdr mode). The metering is the only real what I'd call weakness on the stock camera, just like every other phone camera except the LG Dare I've ever used. That thing still makes gorgeous prints from 10x13 and smaller.

HDR is great, but I have to tone the vibrancy down a bit too sometimes, no matter what device I use to take the shot.
Intelligent auto didn't even pick up the ripples in the water on the lake shot, but I agree it made a pretty picture out of the sky/trees shot.
You've got a great front porch view!

With the fall season here the fishing is getting leaner but the backgrounds if fish photos are getting better at the same time

Sometimes it's obvious the paddle upstream is done, time to turn around or enjoy the moment.
