phone won't vibrate (droid1)

When I turn the volume all the way down and it has the vibrate logo @ the top it only vibrates when someone calls not during txts or other notifications.

Do you have the settings set to vibrate in the text apps and other apps?

When I go to vibrate setting I got it set on always

I just noticed that you have an A855. I have a rooted Droid. For me, I open my email and text app. Tap menu, tap settings, tap notifications, tap vibrate
