I recently rooted my LG Ally and have installed the custom rom "velocity". Im a newb to the world of android rooting, but not illiterate. I also installed setcpu. I was able to boot into recovery mode using rom manager for all of these things but now it wont get past the first LG screen when the phone goes to boot up, and I have to remove the battery for me to be able to do anything...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Not sure about the Ally, but I had a similar issue with my Droid X.
For me the fix was by going into recovery by holding the power + home buttons to get into the recovery of the phone (not clockwork recovery) and from there a factory reset (clear cache and data)

A quick google gave me these links:

    goodluck :)

    Moved to the hacking section.

Did you wipe data and cache?
