Phone unlock issue

I set my phones security with either a pattern or pin code. And after i set it then proceed to unlock it with the pattern or pin code the phone. It then reverts back to 'none' as in no pattern code needed or pin code. Anyone else have this issue or a resolution?

Set it then restart the phone.

Are you running a different ROM?

Set it then restart the phone.

Still didn't fix it. Set it, rebooted and still no luck. It works, then reverts back to no lock.
