Phone setting Droid 2

Sorry I am sure this is in plain site but still new. When my phone is on vibrate the media in my text messages still play. Is there a way to disable that so media is silenced when the phone is on vibrate?

Ringer volume and media volume are separate. Vibrate only applies to ringer volume I think. Try to mute the media volume also

The Vibrate function is for all incoming notifications the Media Volume is different - there are apps in the market that give you quick access to all sounds on your device (Audio Manager) being one
